From engineering to design
I'm Carlo — a designer who found his calling not in a classroom, but on a project site. My background is in mechanical engineering: technical drawings, fabrication specs, precision manufacturing. Honest, methodical work — and I loved it. But something shifted.
While managing the production of professional stainless-steel kitchen equipment, I kept being drawn to the architects and interior designers working around me — the way they thought about space, the care in every material selection, the process of taking a blank room and giving it a soul. I wanted to do that too. So I went back to study, earned my Diploma in Interior Design with a 4.0 GPA, and began building a new kind of career — one that draws on everything engineering taught me, but sees the world through a designer's eyes.
In 2023 that career became The Foresight Lab, founded on a simple vision: to make designing a space as seamless as possible for architects, interior designers and developers — because every client deserves to see their project come to life before a single wall goes up. Today the studio does the technical heavy lifting behind design work across five continents: photorealistic renderings, CAD drafting and documentation that designers hand to their clients with confidence — you can see the results in our work.

Those two phrases guide every render that leaves this studio — images so precise and immersive you forget they aren't photographs. Precision is a form of respect: for your design, for your client's trust, and for the builder who has to make it real. A clean drawing set saves ten site calls; an accurate render wins the approval before the meeting ends.

The Foresight Lab works from the Philippines with designers and studios across the US, UK, Australia, Singapore, Israel, South Africa and beyond — and the time zones are a feature, not a bug. Brief us at your 5pm, and drafts are waiting when you open your laptop at 9am. While you sleep, we render.
