The short version. One file, opened in a browser you already have. Nothing to install, nothing to subscribe to, no account. Windows only for now.
What actually is it?
A single file. You double-click it and it opens in your web browser, the same way a page does — except it is on your own computer and never goes anywhere. Inside are nineteen documents: the welcome pack, the onboarding questionnaire, the room survey, the moodboard, the proposal, the programme, the budget, the FF&E and finishes schedules, purchase orders, the order tracker, delivery notes, invoices, change orders, meeting notes, the project tracker, the punch list, and viewers for your drawings and renderings.
It is closer to a small piece of software than to a template pack, which is the reason for most of the answers below.
Do I need Canva, InDesign or Word?
No. You need a web browser, which your computer already has. There is no subscription behind it and nothing expires.
What do I need to run it?
Windows, and Chrome, Edge or Firefox. That is what it is built and tested on.
Mac and iPad are not supported yet. The file opens, but Safari refuses to let a page opened from your own disk save anything, so your work would not be kept. That is a limitation of Safari rather than of the file, and it is why we would rather say so than take your money. If you work on a Mac, wait for us — or tell us, because it moves the date.
Why one file instead of separate documents?
Because the client’s name should be typed once. Fill in the Setup sheet — your studio, the project, the client, your colours and typefaces — and every one of the nineteen documents reads from it. Nothing can disagree with anything else, which is the failure that costs you an afternoon three weeks into a job.
The schedules also add themselves up. Quantities times unit prices, room subtotals, budget rollups, tax, markup, the change order that alters the contract sum. A page in a design tool cannot do arithmetic; this can.
How does it save my work?
Two ways, and they do different things.
Save keeps your work in the browser on that computer. It now also happens by itself a few seconds after you stop typing, and whenever you close the tab, so forgetting is no longer expensive.
Download writes a new file containing the workbook and everything you have typed. That is the one you keep with the job, back up, or archive when the project is finished. If a browser will not let the page save, the workbook tells you the moment you open it rather than letting you discover it later.
Can I send a document to a client?
Yes, two ways. Print / PDF produces the PDF you would send for signature. And on the onboarding questionnaire and the room survey there is a Client copy button: it writes a separate file with your questions locked and only the answer boxes fillable, so a client cannot rewrite the questionnaire while filling it in. Your costs and markup are removed from that copy rather than hidden in it.
Can I change the look?
All of it. Twelve colours and the typefaces are yours to change from the Setup sheet, and a change reaches every document, table and rule at once. Your logo goes in the same place and appears on every masthead. If you go too far there is an undo, and a button that puts the identity back exactly as it shipped.
Each of the seven house styles is a different piece of design rather than the same layout in different colours — different type, different rules, different treatment of a heading and a table.
A4 or A3?
Both, switched from the toolbar, and the choice is remembered with the project. Wide schedules read better on A3; most documents belong on A4. The drawing viewer is always A3, because a drawing has a scale printed on it and changing the paper would make that scale untrue.
What do I get, exactly?
One .html file for the workbook, a start-here page explaining it, and that is deliberately all. No folder of two hundred files to keep in order.
Is there a free version?
Yes. The FF&E schedule is free and complete — not a sample, not watermarked across the page, not time-limited. It carries a small credit line in the footer, and that is the whole of the trade. It is the honest way to find out whether you like working this way before you spend anything.
What if it does not work for me?
Your copy is built with your studio name in it and sent within one working day, so it is not an instant download. That works in your favour: you can cancel for a full refund any time before it is sent. After that the licence has been granted and sales are final — except for a file that is faulty or not as described, which we will always fix or refund. The full position is in the terms.
Buying it for a Mac after being told it does not support one is not covered. That is exactly why it says so on the shop page, on this page, and in the terms.
Do I get updates?
Yes, for the identity you bought, free. You will be emailed when there is a new version. Because your work lives in your own saved file rather than in ours, an update never touches a project you have already done.
Can I use it for client work?
That is what it is for. The licence covers your own studio and your own client projects, including the documents you deliver to clients. You may not resell or redistribute the files themselves, or put them inside a competing product or course. Full wording in the terms.
