One kitchen, every finish.
A multi-residential development in the Cayman Islands — the same unit kitchen rendered in alternative material schemes under identical light, so the decision comes down to the materials alone.
The material schemes
Same kitchen, same camera, same lighting — only the finishes change. Click through to compare the schemes exactly as a buyer would see them.

The brief
Dream House Designs was working on a multi-residential development in the Cayman Islands, where the same unit is built many times over. That repetition raises the stakes on every material decision: a kitchen scheme chosen once gets multiplied across the whole development, and a finish that underperforms is multiplied with it.
The client needed to compare schemes properly — not as swatches on a board, but as the finished room. And the comparison had to be fair: if the camera, the light or the styling shifted between options, the eye would judge the photograph instead of the materials.
Our approach
We built the unit kitchen once, in full, then rendered it repeatedly with only the material set changing. Identical camera, identical lighting, identical styling in every frame — so what you are comparing across the options really is the cabinetry finish, the counter and the backsplash, and nothing else.
Each scheme was built to behave like the real material rather than a flat colour: stone with its own veining and how it meets an edge, timber with directional grain, metal with the correct brushed response to light. Beyond the kitchen, we rendered the wider unit so the development had a consistent visual set to present and to sell from.
The rest of the unit
Additional spaces rendered across the unit type.
The result
A directly comparable set of kitchen material schemes, plus photorealistic renderings across the rest of the unit.
Presented this way, choosing a finish stops being an argument about taste and becomes a straightforward comparison — which matters when the choice is going to be repeated across every unit in the development.
