Photorealistic renderings

The brief

Restaurants are judged on atmosphere but built on numbers. Covers, circulation, service routes and the relationship between the pass and the floor decide whether a room works — and the design has to deliver all of that while still feeling like somewhere you would want to spend an evening. [Add the client and brief.]

The visual question was mood: how the room feels once the lights come down and it fills up. That is difficult to argue from a plan, and expensive to get wrong once the joinery is ordered.

Our approach

We modelled the dining room with the real seating layout in place — banquettes, loose tables, the bar — so the density could be judged honestly rather than idealised. Sightlines were checked from the seats that matter: the entrance view, the best table, and the ones nobody wants.

Lighting was built at table level rather than as flat ambient light, because in a restaurant that is where the atmosphere actually lives: warm pools over each table, a brighter bar, and enough fall-off between them to make the room feel intimate at full capacity. [Add materials and revision rounds.]

The result

Photorealistic renderings of the dining room, bar and seating arrangements. [Add what was delivered and the outcome.]

Images like these do double duty — they settle design decisions internally, then go straight into investor decks, press and pre-opening marketing.
